| 英文描述 | In Denmark, a series of foals of the Norske Fjordhesteayl breed were unable to stand at birth. Foals were strong but ataxic. Affected foals have lived for up to 3 months prior to euthanasia. There were no lesions at gross necropsy or on light microscopy, but some atrophic changes in cells of the cerebellum were seen on electron microscopy in severe cases. All affected foals have been related, and this is believed to be due to an autosomal recessive. |
